Acceptable use policy
Fairola is for real businesses telling customers the truth about what they do. This policy is part of our terms of service. If a website breaks it, we may pause or remove it.
Don't use Fairola to
- Mislead customers. No false claims about your prices, qualifications, licences, awards or results, and no fake reviews or testimonials.
- Pretend to be someone else. No websites that impersonate another business, a bank, a government agency or a real person.
- Scam or phish. No requests for passwords, card numbers or bank logins, and no fake shops, investment schemes or “too good to be true” offers.
- Break the law. No illegal goods or services, and nothing that infringes someone else's copyright or trade marks.
- Make unsafe health claims. Health services must follow the rules that apply to them, including the advertising rules for regulated health practitioners.
- Spam. Only email customers who agreed to hear from you, and always include a way to unsubscribe.
- Harm people. No hate speech, harassment, threats, or sexual content involving minors.
- Attack the service. No malware, no attempts to get around security or limits, and no automated sign-ups or previews.
Regulated businesses
If your business needs a licence, registration or permit, such as trades, health, finance, real estate or alcohol, you're responsible for holding it and for following any rules about how you advertise.
